The EY Foundation is an independent registered charity supporting young people who qualify for free school meals into employment, education, and enterprise.
We bring young people and employers together to deliver high-quality employability skills training, paid work experience, and mentoring in regions across the country, enabling young people from a low-income background to thrive in the workplace.
Our delivery-focused approach generates insights to influence the actions of employers, business and government, helping to ensure the success of all young people. We work with organisations from across all sectors, including commercial, not-for-profit, education and government.
We are an independent registered charity governed by a board of trustees, and we are a member firm of Ernst & Young Global Limited. We were founded by EY (the professional services firm) in 2014 and the firm continues to provide funding and donations to the charity under a multi-annual funding agreement, supporting us to carry out our work and make a positive impact on young people and social entrepreneurs.
