The Huntington’s Disease Association is a UK registered charity that supports people affected by Huntington’s disease across England and Wales. We provide information, advice and support to families, friends, and healthcare professionals.

 

About the role

We are looking for a Specialist Huntington’s Disease Adviser to support people affected by Huntington’s disease. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated person who is dedicated and committed to the welfare of families affected by Huntington’s disease, developing and improving the quality of care that they receive.

 

The role is 21 hours per week and is home-based (living in the Merseyside and Isle of Man area) but will involve extensive travel within the region and occasional travel across England and Wales. The post holder must be a car owner with a clean UK licence.

 

You will need to have skills gained within a Health and Social Care profession. Their main responsibilities will be to offer help, information, advice, support and education to everyone affected by Huntington’s disease and professionals involved in supporting them.
